187-18 Unregistered, Uninsured & or Uninspected Vehicles

Please be aware that the borough has the following code that requires all motor vehicles within the borough to be Registered, Insured and Inspected. You are not allowed to have a vehicle on your property unless it meets the above criteria. I have provided the code for your reference. It is the responsibility of the vehicle's registered owner that no currently unregistered, uninsured and/or uninspected vehicle shall be parked, at any time, on any property within the Borough of South Plainfield.

Any person or persons who violate any provision of this section of this chapter shall, on conviction thereof, pay a fine of $130.
